Dr. Katherine Gray, the practice owner, is a 1992 graduate of Va Tech. Dr Gray practices general medicine and surgery for dogs, cats and horses. Before attending vet school Dr. Gray, a 1976 graduate of The Morven Park Equestrian Institute, taught riding and trained horses.  She is very familiar with showing and eventing.  She currently owns five horses and is an avid foxhunter.  She also completed the IVAS accupunture course in 1996 and has an interest in chinese and western herbs for healing. Dr Gray loves telling stories and has written one novel called Dog in a Manger.  The book is available at the office or can be ordered on line through vetbooks.net.

Dr. William Mitchell has recently joined Agape.  He has been practicing veterinary medicine outside of Memphis, Tennessee for the past 37 years.  Dr. Mitchell brings a wealth of experience to the the practice in the area of small animal medicine and surgery. He is originally from Missouri and writes a veterinary column for his old hometown.  Dr. Mitchell is compassionate and practical with excellent bedside manner.  We feel honored to have him working with us.
